The latest version of the free Nikon Capture NX, firmware version 1.2.1 (released on February 12, 2015), also allows you to combine images taken with the digital camera and Nikon D . A new function, (Nikon Capture NX: multiple exposure), which lets you capture multiple images at the same time, also has been added.

Many functions, for example, lens distortion correction (firmware 5.0.2), HDR (firmware 2.1.0) and multiple exposure (firmware 1.3.0), are introduced in each firmware update.
